Join us on 27th April 2022 with Prof. Dr. Susanne Suter as our guest, speaking about her career path, which lead her from university, to software engineering and project management to digital health and now to being a professor in data science at the renowned FHNW University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland School of Engineering . Her key topics are data-driven predictive systems, image and sensor data as well as medtech.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Prof. Dr. Susanne Suter is a lecturer in Data Science at the FHNW School of Engineering in Windisch. She has worked with data processing, data prediction and data analysis in numerous applications since 2003, both in research and private industry. Her focus is on developing data-driven predictive systems using data from 2D and 3D vision systems and sensors. She is teaching in Bachelor degrees in Data Science (efficient machine learning, high performance computing) and Industrial Engineering (artificial intelligence and machine learning), as well as in continued education at FHNW (DAS/MAS: explainable artificial intelligence) and at University of Zürich, Department for Informatics (CAS: deep learning).
Prof. Suter is committed to the advancement of women and girls in computer science with activities such as programming for girls, informatica feminale, women in engineering events, and as a mentor.
